Paris Saint-Germain showed their attacking quality to secure a 3–1 victory over Le Mans at the Parc des Princes on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with second-half goals from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Maghnes Akliouche helping the champions claim all three points.
PSG took the lead in the 19th minute when defender Lucas Beraldo converted a penalty, putting the hosts in control after a lively start.
However, Le Mans refused to back down and drew level nine minutes into the second half. Louis Mafouta met a cross from the left and headed past the PSG goalkeeper to make it 1–1 in the 54th minute.
With the visitors threatening to frustrate them, PSG head coach Luis Enrique introduced several key players just before the hour mark, including Kvaratskhelia.
The Georgian winger made an immediate impact. Just two minutes after coming on, he reacted quickest to a rebound following a powerful effort from Fabián Ruiz, restoring PSG’s lead in the 61st minute.
The hosts struck again seven minutes later. Maghnes Akliouche collected the ball inside the penalty area and fired a low shot into the net to make it 3–1, scoring his first goal for the Parisian club.
PSG had an opportunity to extend their advantage in stoppage time when they were awarded another penalty, but Désiré Doué’s effort was saved by Le Mans goalkeeper Nicolas Kocik.
The victory marked PSG’s third consecutive win in all competitions and lifted them to fifth place in Ligue 1 with 11 points from six matches.
The champions will now turn their attention to a demanding Champions League trip to face Manchester City, while Le Mans will look to recover from their defeat.
Kvaratskhelia’s decisive contribution off the bench and Akliouche’s first PSG goal provided the highlights of a match in which Enrique’s substitutions proved crucial.
