Middlesbrough Complete Free Transfer of Myles Peart-Harris on Four-Year Deal

Middlesbrough F.C. have strengthened their squad ahead of the new Championship season by completing the signing of winger Myles Peart-Harris on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract at the Riverside Stadium after becoming available following the expiration of his short-term deal with Oxford United F.C..

Peart-Harris impressed during his loan spell with Oxford, scoring three goals in 20 appearances after joining the club in January, despite being unable to prevent the Us from suffering relegation.

The former Brentford F.C. academy graduate now joins a Middlesbrough side looking to bounce back after their heartbreaking defeat to Hull City A.F.C. in last season’s Championship play-off final.

Speaking after completing the move, Peart-Harris admitted the opportunity to join Middlesbrough was one he was eager to seize.

“As soon as I was told Middlesbrough were interested, I just wanted to get it done,” he told the club’s official website.

“It’s a very good footballing side with a great manager and a strong support, so it’s brilliant to be part of it now.”

Peart-Harris arrives as Middlesbrough continue preparations for another promotion push, with the club set to begin the new Championship campaign at home against promoted Lincoln City F.C. on 15 August.
