Bournemouth continued their impressive European debut with a 3-1 comeback victory over Sparta Prague in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League clash.
The hosts took the lead through Ebrima Singhateh in the 35th minute after Bournemouth’s Lewis Cook missed a penalty five minutes earlier.
However, Sparta’s hopes suffered a major setback when Tobias Guddal received a second yellow card just two minutes later, leaving the Czech side with 10 men.
Bournemouth capitalised on their numerical advantage after the break, with substitute Tyler Adams equalising in the 57th minute.
Brazilian striker Evanilson completed the turnaround in the 81st minute before fellow substitute Rayan sealed the victory with a third goal in the 90th minute.
The result handed Marco Rose’s side their fourth consecutive Europa League victory, extending their winning streak in all competitions to seven matches.
Bournemouth now have 12 points from four European matches, strengthening their position among the competition’s leading sides.
