Stuttgart have been tipped to claim a convincing victory when they host Norwegian side Viking in their upcoming European fixture at the MHPArena on Wednesday.

The Bundesliga outfit are available at 1.89 to win by three or more goals on the Asian Handicap market, with the -2 line offering a refund if Stuttgart win by exactly two goals.

Stuttgart have made an inconsistent start to their Bundesliga campaign, recording one win and one defeat from their opening two matches. However, Sebastian Hoeness’ side showed their attacking quality in their most recent outing with a commanding 4-1 home victory over FC Köln.

Viking arrive in strong domestic form

Viking have enjoyed an impressive campaign in Norway and currently sit second in the Eliteserien with 44 points from 19 matches, just three points behind league leaders Bodø/Glimt.

The Norwegian side, however, were held to a 1-1 draw away to Sandefjord in their latest outing.

Viking had 46 per cent possession and managed four shots on target, with Henrik Rørvik Bjørdal scoring their only goal.

Stuttgart backed for big win

Despite Viking’s strong domestic campaign, Stuttgart’s superior squad depth and home advantage make them the favourites to dominate the contest.

Their emphatic 4-1 victory over Köln also provides confidence in their attacking ability ahead of the meeting.

A two-goal victory would see stakes refunded on the Asian Handicap -2 selection, while a win by three or more goals would produce a full return at the quoted 1.89 odds.
