Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala appeared to collapse during his side’s pre-season friendly against RB Leipzig on Saturday amid temperatures reaching 33°C.

The Germany international appeared to struggle with the heat during the closing stages of the match after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Musiala made an immediate impact, scoring Bayern’s third goal of the game. However, shortly after finding the back of the net, he appeared unsteady on his feet.

Saibari quickly noticed Musiala’s condition and moved towards him, with the player eventually losing his balance.

Both Saibari and Joshua Kimmich managed to catch Musiala before he hit the ground, gently lowering him down as medical staff rushed onto the pitch.

Bayern players gathered around their teammate while he received treatment from the medical team.

Thankfully, Musiala was subsequently able to get back on his feet and walk off the pitch with the assistance of Bayern’s medical staff.

He was replaced by Bara Sapoko Ndiaye as the Bayern medical team continued to monitor his condition.
