Leicester City have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of striker Admir Bristric from Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Foxes, becoming the club’s eighth arrival of the summer transfer window as manager Russell Martin continues to reshape his squad at the King Power Stadium.

Bristric, who has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level, spent last season on loan at fellow Slovenian side Bravo.

He enjoyed a productive campaign, scoring 10 goals in 24 appearances and helping Bravo secure qualification for the UEFA Conference League.

His arrival adds further competition to Leicester’s forward line and follows the recent additions of Wes Burns, Tommy Watson and Liam Cullen.

Bristric expressed his excitement at joining the Championship club and believes the move represents an important step in his career.

“I feel proud and amazing to be at such a big club like Leicester,” Bristric told Leicester City’s official website.

The striker will now look to adapt quickly to English football and play a key role as Leicester aim to build a squad capable of challenging at the top end of the division under Martin.
