Manchester United have confirmed an agreement to sign highly-rated teenage winger Tynan Thompson from Tottenham Hotspur, subject to registration.
The 18-year-old England youth international arrives at Old Trafford after an impressive campaign with Spurs’ academy, where he showcased his attacking talent across the Under-18 and Under-21 levels.
Thompson enjoyed a standout season, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists. He also excelled in the UEFA Youth League, netting seven goals in seven appearances, underlining his reputation as one of England’s brightest young prospects.
His consistent performances earned him opportunities to be included in Tottenham’s senior matchday squads, highlighting the rapid progress he has made in recent months.
Manchester United welcomed Thompson to the club and expressed their best wishes as he begins the next chapter of his career at Old Trafford.
