Emma Raducanu will miss the upcoming Miami Open as she continues her recovery from illness, ruling her out of one of the key events in the Sunshine Swing.
The 2021 US Open champion has endured an inconsistent 2026 campaign so far, recording seven wins and seven losses on the WTA Tour. Her most recent outing ended in a swift defeat to Amanda Anisimova at the Indian Wells Open, where she was beaten in just 52 minutes.
Raducanu’s absence from Miami marks a setback, particularly after her impressive run to the quarter-finals at the tournament last year.
The 23-year-old is now expected to shift her focus toward recovery, with plans to return to action at the Linz Open in April.
