Two of football’s global powerhouses, the Brazil national football team and the France national football team, will meet in an international friendly on Thursday, March 26, at Gillette Stadium.
The match, scheduled for 4 p.m., marks the first meeting between the two multiple World Cup winners since 2015, when Brazil secured a 3–1 victory over France at the Stade de France.
Beyond the on-field action, the fixture also serves as a test event for the stadium, which will be temporarily renamed “Boston Stadium” when it hosts matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including a quarter-final.
With both teams already qualified and widely regarded among the favourites for the upcoming tournament, the encounter will act as a key preparation match. Coaches from both sides are expected to use the game to fine-tune tactics and assess players ahead of final squad selections.
Although labeled a “friendly,” the clash promises to deliver high-quality competition as two of the world’s top footballing nations continue their build-up to the World Cup.
