Former world champion Tony Bellew believes Anthony Joshua still has what it takes to defeat long-time rival Tyson Fury, as talk of a blockbuster all-British showdown gathers momentum.
Fury recently revealed he is open to facing Joshua following his planned comeback fight next month, reigniting hopes that the long-anticipated clash could finally materialize.
Bellew, who held world titles at cruiserweight and also competed at heavyweight, insists the timing of the bout will not diminish its significance.
“It’ll never be too late. We’ll always want the answers,” Bellew said, stressing that fans remain eager to see the two British heavyweights settle their rivalry in the ring.
He also highlighted Joshua’s global appeal and pedigree, describing him as one of the most marketable fighters in British boxing history, with achievements including an Olympic gold medal and multiple heavyweight world titles.
With both fighters now edging closer to a potential agreement, anticipation continues to build around what could be one of the biggest fights in modern boxing.
