Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed why he turned down the opportunity to wear Galatasaray’s famous number nine jersey, opting instead to keep his trusted number 45 shirt for the new season.

The Nigerian international completed a permanent move to the Turkish champions this summer after enjoying a hugely successful loan spell that saw him establish himself as one of the club’s most influential players.
